Cité Fashion Runway Show
Co-foundation of the Cité Fashion Runway project with 3 other residents of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP). Presentation of the project to the Resident Initiatives Fund committee, securing the maximum funding of €1500. Strategic project definition: selection of a series of events highlighting sustainable fashion, women empowerment, diversity, and inclusivity through fashion. Research and selection of designers, amateur models, photographers, and volunteers from CIUP residents.
Creation of the project’s identity (graphic charter and logo) and development of the communication plan. Management of the Instagram page (content creation: carousels, reels, event posters, and promotional material for the fashion show).
Organization of two sustainable fashion workshops: first workshop on natural fabric dyeing, second on upcycling and customizing old garments. Search for venues within the CIUP houses and partnership with resident committees and house directors. Collaboration with 2 expert seamstresses for the upcycling workshop. Creation of pre- and post-event content.
Organization of a fashion film screening in collaboration with the CIUP cinema club. Featured film: Funny Face. Creation of pre- and post-event content.
Organization of a visit to the Louvre Museum for the Louvre Couture exhibition, followed by a picnic at the Tuileries Garden for networking with participants.
Organization of an afternoon of fashion conferences. Research and selection of 3 speakers: an IFM professor specializing in haute couture, a fashion influencer, and an expert in sustainable fashion. Management of operational aspects (setting up chairs, projector, microphone, catering) and content creation for event promotion and post-event recap.
Organization of a model casting, followed by a workshop with a professional model on runway techniques.
Organization of the fashion show, managing a team of 8 people (specific responsibilities: venue management, entrance, catering, logistics, crew, volunteers, backstage). Collaboration with 6 designers, 40 models, 5 makeup artists/hair stylists, 7 photographers/videographers, 3 musicians/DJs, 30 volunteers, and 150 spectators.
